Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones we set on casola.ai, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy. Questions: privacy@casola.ai.
1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies (pixel tags, local storage) work analogously. We refer to all of these collectively as “cookies” below.
2. Categories We Use
Strictly Necessary
These cookies are required for the site to work and cannot be switched off. They include security tokens, session state, and fraud-prevention signals. They are set without your consent; disabling them will break site functionality.
Analytics / Performance
These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with casola.ai — which pages are visited, how long sessions last, and where errors occur. We use this data to improve the site.
Analytics provider: Google Analytics (Google LLC). Google Analytics uses cookies (including
_ga, _ga_*) to collect pseudonymous identifiers that distinguish visitors and track
sessions. Google may transfer data to the US under its SCCs. See Google’s privacy policy
and Google Analytics data practices.
We implement Google Consent Mode v2, which passes your consent signal directly to Google before any measurement data is collected. Google adjusts its data collection accordingly.
3. Region-Based Consent Model
We apply different defaults depending on your region:
EEA, UK, and Switzerland (opt-in): Analytics cookies are set only after you accept via the cookie banner on your first visit. Until you accept, no analytics cookies are placed.
United States and rest of world (opt-out): Analytics are on by default. No banner appears on first visit. You can disable analytics at any time via “Cookie settings” in the page footer or via the button below.
4. Retention
| Category | Typical retention |
|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Session or up to 1 year |
| Analytics | Up to 2 years (provider-set; see provider docs) |
5. Your Choices
EEA/UK/Switzerland visitors: On first visit a cookie banner appears. Clicking Accept enables analytics cookies; clicking Reject keeps only strictly-necessary cookies active.
All visitors — to change your choice later: scroll to the bottom of any page and click “Cookie settings”, or click the button below. This clears your stored choice and re-opens the consent banner.
